UK delegate visit the Department for International Trade at the British High Commission Abuja Nigeria on Thursday 27 September 2018 as part of its Scoping Mission for the establishment of a new Centre for Skills Excellence for Empowerment Support Initiative and to create a TVET system that provides the manpower to drive the economy of the Niger Delta region, attract investment and become a major deliverer of technical and vocational skills.

 

 

Scoping Mission Task:

  • Review existing centres and design a new centre for Skills Excellence
  • Clear focus on
    • Sector-based Work Academies
    • Employer engagement
    • Empowering youth
    • Training of  Master Trainers
    • Creating a network of key Stakeholders
